Company founder of LGHTCRFT, Derrick has over twenty years’ experience as a lighting consultant on high profile projects across Australia and internationally.
Derrick fosters a work environment that champions creative and technically innovative design. He brings a deep passion for the role of light in shaping the built environment, combined with a progressive and open approach to collaboration and delivery.
For Derrick, success is not just about aesthetics or awards. It’s about how lighting supports the client’s broader objectives, whether that’s improving user experience, meeting sustainability targets, enhancing asset value or helping attract and retain tenants. He is committed to delivering outcomes that are both technically sound and commercially aligned.
He has successfully delivered numerous large-scale projects across sectors including commercial buildings and fit-outs, heritage, museum and gallery, civic, research and education, retail and transport.
